Upon the expiration of a two-year constitutional tenure of the executives of the literary association, ANA-KWARA has elected fresh hands to pilot the affairs of the chapter for another constitutional period of two years.
The election held on 11th June 2023, was chaired and conducted by Colonel Oladele Babajamu who represented the national interest and Dr Usman Oladipo Akanbi at the chapter secretariat, Knowledge Platform, Mustapha Akanbi foundation Ilorin which saw the re-election of Babayemi Opeyemi as the chapter chairman.

Abdulkadri Fatimah – Asst Secretary,
Abdulkareem Rofiat-Seidu – financial Secretary, Aliyu Abdulwaheed – treasurer,
Oyewole AbdulHafeez – Auditor, Al-Amin El-Nasir – welfare Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim Alata – public relation officer and
A.R.A Aderinoye – Ex Officio.
Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Colonel Oladele Babajamu who was also a former chairman of the chapter expressed satisfaction over the well conducted election that has brought in the new executives and wished the new executives success.
Dr Usman Oladipo Akanbi a renowned member of the chapter, former chairman of the chapter and founder of Imodoye writer’s enclave congratulated the chapter for the successful election that brought in the new crop of executives, saying the executives is composed of good hands and capable minds while adding that the future is promising for the Chapter.
Dr Usman Oladipo Akanbi led the newly elected executives through oath taking and swearing.
The re-elected Chairman Babayemi Opeyemi on behalf of the entire executives gave an acceptance speech and promised to work diligently to move the chapter to progress.
In the bid to hit the ground running immediately, the Chairman released a list of working committees to help with the visions of the chapter and implored the committees to be committed to their duties.
