The Nigeria Police Force says it uncovered kidnapping attempts from its Force Intelligence-Intelligence Rapid Response Team (DFI-IRT) in Abuja.
A report by the NPF Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said that the operation killed the leader of the kidnapping gang Isa Dei-Dei despite foist attempt.
The statement said, the Force tracked the location for the ambush, however the bandits tried to abscond the vicinity on the sight of the force, resulting in exchange of bullets which saw the end of the leader dei-dei.
Residents within have been advised to be cautions with their activities within the area.
