Nigerians are very uncomfortable at this period with the economy situation which has resulted to citizens protests, carrying placards reading ‘end bad government now’ and ‘end hunger’, as seen in one of the major cities.

The west africa nation is currently going through its worst economic crises in many years which has been attributed to the high rate of inflation rate following monetary policies that had bankrupt local currency to dollar, resulting in frustration, resentment, anger and protests across the country.
The government had started reforms in 2023 which culminated in the removal of gas subsidy, outmuscling incomes and savings m, tightened the conditions of many struggling with hardship.
