The Kwara North Youth Consultative Forum, a prominent youth organization in Kwara North has agreed to make Alhaji Sha’aba Lafiagi, the former Governor of Kwara State the guest speaker at the Kwara North Youth Unity Summit slated for 27th April, 2024.
Alhaji Sha’aba Lafiagi was a former Governor of Kwara State for eighteen months, between January 1992 and November 1993 and a two terms Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria who represented Kwara North Senatorial District.
Alhaji Sha’aba Lafiagi is a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, known for his contributions and influence in Kwara State, North Central Nigeria and the Country at large. As a guest speaker at the Kwara North Youth Summit, he is to share valuable insights and perspectives with the youths and other stakeholders on the need for a more united Kwara State where equity and fairness would be a major solution to a more prosperous Kwara State.
The Summit will be a platform for young people to engage with experienced leaders from Kwara North, learn from their experiences, and discuss important topics that will promote unity and peaceful co-existence among the good people of Kwara State. It’s also an excellent opportunity for the youth to be inspired, informed, and empowered to make a positive impact in their respective communities.
The Vice Chairman Kwara State traditional council who doubled as the Emir of Patigi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim Bologi II and other traditional rulers across the five local governments of Kwara North are going to grace the occasion.
The Youth Summit will take place at Bode-Saadu, Moro Local Government, the headquarters of Kwara North Senatorial District.
