Macron: France could have prevented Rwanda Genocide

French President, Emmanuel Macron has admitted that France and associates could have prevented the 1994 Rwanda genocide.

He made the submission during Rwanda 30th year anniversary of the genocide and revealed that the nation couldn’t act swiftly during Rwanda’s greatest conflicts.

Macron affirmed that France, the West and other francophone nations could have stopped the genocide but lack the political will.

The Rwanda genocide saw over 800,000 lives lost during an ethnic crisis between the hutsi and Tutsis.
