Chairman Northern Traditional Rulers’ Council, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has cried out that the level of poverty, hunger and insecurity in the country is getting worrisome.
During the 6th Executive Committee Meeting of Northern Traditional Rulers Council in Kaduna, Sultan Abubakar, bemoaned that Nigerians are uncomfortable with the ongoing situation.
According to the Sultan, he noted there was a previous meeting held for similar circumstances sometimes ago with the Northern Governors but following changes in government, new faces have come on board, while others in still in power, the crisis still beckons.
In attendance at the meeting were the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir, among others.
