Guinea National Council relieves Interim govt of duties

The ruling National Council of the Rally for Development (CRND) in Guinea has dissolved its interim government.

During a Judicial decision on Monday by the secretary-general to the President together with military officials and soldiers, read that directors, secretary generals and their deputies will take charge until a new government come in place.

The secretary general, Amara Camara didn’t mention when a new administration will emerge.

In a similar development, chief of staff of arm forces, Ibrahima Sory Bangoura, during a communiqué explained that members of the dissolved government will hand over their vehicles and passports soon while personnel securities will vacate their duty post.

The height of the communique was the decision to freeze all ministers’ bank accounts.

Forces in the west africa nation is spearheaded by general Mamadi Doumbouya, who headed a coup in September 2021.

The current administration came on board in July 2022.
