Following the death of the Deputy commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Gbolahan Oyedemi, who travelled to Ogbomoso, Oyo State, for the Easter holiday, a close relatives has revealed that the commissioner was found dead in his apartment on Monday.
The source confirmed that the officer committed suicide at his residence in his hometown, Ogbomoso.
It narrated that Oyedemi, who usually visited his hometown during the Easter celebrations, gave his aides the weekend off to go an celebrate with their families.
ASP Aminat Mayegun, Force Criminal and Investigation Department, Alagbon, Lagos State spokesperson, disclosed that the intention to conduct a thorough investigation into Oyedemi’s death.
