Ethiopia, Kenya to seal bilateral relationship

Abiy Ahmed, Ethiopia prime minister will solve crisis battling his country and Kenya in the bid to heightened economic standard of both countries.

During a luncheon by Kenyan President William Ruto in Nairobi, the prime minister said bilateral ties was significant in the sense that it would assist Africa going forward work politically and economically.

In the President speech, he welcomed Ahmed to the Kenya capital where stakeholders discussed Ethiopia’s negotiations with the breakaway region of Somaliland to secure access to a seaport.

Ethiopia had signed an agreement with Somaliland on Jan. 1. stating that it will go to war over because it considers Somaliland part of its territory.

Part of the agreement according to Somaliland, revealed Ethiopia acknowledges its independence in return for a naval port.
